MJCode Apps ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Tempo - Productivity Partner application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Tempo, we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: Email address and display name when you create an account.
• Usage Data: Activities, tasks, habits, and productivity data you enter into the app.
• AI Coach Conversations: Messages you send to the AI Coach feature.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Tempo app and its features.
• Store your productivity data, tasks, habits, and activities.
• Process AI Coach conversations to provide personalized productivity advice.
• Improve our services and user experience.

3. Third-Party AI Service

3.1 What Data is Shared

When you use the AI Coach feature, the following data is sent to the AI service:

• Your chat messages within the AI Coach conversation.
• General productivity context (such as your daily score and streak count) to provide relevant advice.

The following data is never shared with the AI service:

• Your email address or account credentials.
• Your personal identity information.
• Your payment or billing information.

3.2 Who Processes the Data

AI Coach conversations are processed by Anthropic (Claude AI), a trusted artificial intelligence company based in the United States. You can learn more about Anthropic's data practices at anthropic.com/privacy.

3.3 Data Retention by AI Provider

Anthropic's API does not use your data for training AI models. Conversation data sent via the API is processed in real-time and is subject to Anthropic's API data retention policy, which provides that API inputs and outputs are not used for model training.

3.4 User Consent

Before using the AI Coach feature for the first time, you will be asked to review and accept the data disclosure. You may decline, in which case no data will be sent to the AI service. You can continue using all other features of Tempo without the AI Coach.

4. Data Storage

Your account and productivity data is stored securely on Supabase, a cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
• Secure authentication via Supabase Auth.
• Row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile section of the app. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed.

7. Children's Privacy

Tempo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app.
